Long before Blake and I were expecting, we had one thing figured out for if and when we would have a baby -who would have which shift. I’ll be taking the night shift and he can get up for morning duties.
See, it should work out well theoretically speaking anyway. I really wish I had Blake’s morning gumption. Hopefully, I’ll acquire it – the sooner, the better.
Last night was the first time I noticed my belly when trying to sleep. I tend to flip from one side to the next but I couldn’t turn on my stomach very easily. I know it’s going to get worse before it gets better but it is quite the experience watching – and feeling – your body change.
The crew headed out after lunch. I just talked to Blake (it’s 2:20 p.m.) and they were cutting. Hip hip hooray! We’ve been sitting for a week (with the move in there, of course) and it is time to get going again so that’s great news. The bad news is that the field is not doing very well. During my brief conversation with Blake, it sounded quite chaotic so I’ll get some stats later on bushel, test weight, etc.
Leigh threw a pork loin in the crock pot this morning so we’ll take out pork loin sandwiches for supper. We hooked the crock pot up outside so it’s not heating up the campers all day. Today, Leigh made a reference to her and Bruce’s first camper. It was 18 feet with no slide outs and no air. We all live in luxury comparably and I recognize that but it’s still nice to keep the campers cool.
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! I had to check what day of the week it was to be sure.
